The Fund follows its written policies and procedures for the receipt of donations and disbursements to needy persons or families. Donations are received with the express understanding with each donor that the BAF has complete control over, and administration of, the use of donations.  However, the Fund has also received donations in response to a specific need, and the Board unfailingly sent those contributions to the specific needs to which donors have responded.  The Board of Directors is charged with evaluating and discerning whether the needs presented to the BAF are in keeping with the BAF mission and focus.
